01 - Where should I install Purak?

Upstream of the system, usually in the vain where are the water meter and the main closure system valve.

02 - Is Purak difficult to install?

No, but make sure that the chosen location will allow easy insertion of PURAK magnetic anti-limescale, and the tightening of the components required for installation.

03 - Can I Install Purak by myself?

Only if you have the right skills, necessary tools and connections, otherwise we recommend to contact your plumber.

04 - Has Purak a direction of installation?

PURAK magnetic anti-limescale hasn't a specific way of positioning, consequently, the water input and output from the device that you choose, will not in any way affect its operation.

05 - What should I do to install PURAK?

Check and make a list of all the components that you need for the installation, according to the existing pipe;
Before you install, close the main valve of the water system;
Open a tap and check that water does not come from it;
Break off the pipeline downstream of the water meter to insert PURAK magnetic anti-limescale;
Connect the Purak magnetic anti-limescale in the way that you have chosen and make the connection for the pressure sealing of the gasket system
Check that you have made the connections and have taken care of all the details to perfection;
Open the main valve of the water system, making sure there are no leaks;
End installation.

06 - Should I install a filter before Purak?

Definitely yes, this to protect it from any coarse debris in the water that can block the ducts.

07 - If I have a storage tank where should I install Purak?

Before the entrance to the tank in order to keep the water inside always treated magnetically.

08 - Is the magnetic field of Purak harmful?

No, the magnetic field is shielded by steel.

09 - Is the magnetic field harmful to the water?

No, indeed, it seems that, from studies done by leading scientists and universities in the world, magnetized water only has beneficial effects for the human body.

10 - How often must Purak be replaced?

Never, because the magnetic field generated by the rare soils is almost eternal, having a duration of millions of years.

11 - If after installing water stops coming out, what could have happened?

Disconnect the system and check if the water comes out before Purak; if it comes out then it is possible that, if you did not install a filter before, coarse debris in the water have blocked the passage of water inside the Purak. If instead you have installed a filter it is possible that there is a problem within the same. You can return the Purak and it will be replaced under warranty.

12 - Are there maintenance costs?

No, once installed Purak has no cartridges or filters that should be replaced.

13 - Where does the eliminated limescale go?

It remains in the water as aragonite and it is disposed by the water itself.

14 - Has Purak effect on drinking water?

Purak doesn't change the chemical composition of the water but it acts only on the calcium, turning it all into aragonite. The dissolved mineral salts remain totally unchanged.

15 - How does the hardness of water change?

It remains unchanged, remaining within the water the same amount of calcium and minerals.

16 - How can I verify if the Purak actually works?

As soon as you notice that:

limescale deposits on taps and crockery don't appear any more
In washing you will notice that the water seems sweeter
Mirrors, taps and crockery can be cleaned more easily without the aid of anti-limescale detergents;
Cloths are no longer felted
Those who suffer from atopic dermatitis find immediately relief

17 - Does Purak pollute the environment?

Absolutely not, in fact, it is a device that protects the environment from the massive use of chemicals, as there is a reduction in the consumption of detergents and chemicals in general.

18 - Has Purak tax breaks?

Yes, both the income tax deduction that the reduced rate of VAT are eligible; however, the revenue office allows this facilitation only if the installation of equipment for water descaling, involves structural changes, with extraordinary maintenance of the dwelling or its plumbing systems, as duly defined in the circulars n. 57/E of 24.02.1998 par.3.4 and n.20/E of 13.05.2011 point 2.3.

19 - Is Purak patented?

20 - Has Purak been tested by some institution?

Yes, Purak magnetic anti-limescale was tested by The Materials Laboratory (Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering) of University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, with the Report of 30/01/2019.

The water treatment with preselected PURAK magnetic polarizer allow two major advantages compared to untreated water:

The mass of calcium carbonate deposited on surfaces in the form of calcite is considerably reduced, favoring the precipitation of aragonite in the bulk of the aqueous solution
Significant increase in the crystalline dimensions of less reactive calcite precipitated on surfaces with lower aptitude to form scale deposits.

These two results scientifically justify the considerable reduction of scale deposits on surfaces by treating the water with a selected PURAK magnetic polarizer.

21 - Che differenza c'è tra l'anticalcare magnetico PURAK e un addolcitore?

Il trattamento da noi proposto è di tipo fisico e dunque non apporta nessuna variazione di tipo chimica e organolettica all'acqua, ma lavora solo sulla riduzione dei depositi incrostanti. Questo significa che la durezza, e quindi la quantità di carbonato di calcio non cambia, come avviene nelle acque trattate dagli addolcitori.

22 - Quale scelgo fra i vari modelli PURAK?

La scelta del PURAK, va fatta in base al diametro del tubo di adduzione in uscita al contatore o in base al diametro della linea che si vuole adattare; alla pressione dell'acqua; all'altezza in cui si trovano le utenze (primo piano, secondo piano e così via) e soprattutto in base a quante utenze (cucina, bagno e altre) si vogliono alimentare.

24 - Dove finiscono i Carbonati (Calcare) estratti dall'acqua?

L'acqua, prima dell'installazione del nostro anticalcare magnetico PURAK, contiene carbonato di calcio che precipita da soluzione in sospensione prima in Calcite a 30° e poi in Aragonite a 60° gradi. Una volta installato il nostro prodotto, la situazione non cambia. Non ci sono scarti e non occorre mettere filtri, questo perché l'acqua rimane sempre cosi come sgorga dai nostri rubinetti.

L'unica differenza è che mentre prima il calcare diventava incrostazione e bisognava rimuoverlo con un Anticalcare, ora il calcare diventa una polverina che si può rimuovere facilmente uovere senza l'utilizzo di additivi chimici.
